2. Adding an Editor Item

  • Click Add Item and select Editor.
  • Click Next.
  • Set an expiry date if needed and add keywords. Keywords help users find the document through master search. Include as many relevant keywords as possible.

3. Crafting Your Content

  • Resize the editor screen if needed and start typing your content.
  • You can paste existing documents in Word format or copy text from other sources, and the editor will preserve the formatting.
  • For example, paste content and choose Keep Formatting to maintain the document's style.
  • Add images by clicking Insert and selecting images from your files.

4. Handling PDF Documents

  • Note that PDF documents often do not copy well due to their complexity, similar to pasting them into a Word document.

5. Editing Options

  • Change fonts and use other standard text editor options to format your document.

6. Creating Links

  • To create a link to an existing document:

    • Publish the file as a draft first, so it won't be visible to other users yet.
    • Navigate to the document you want to link.
    • Ensure you are on the Home screen, not the Admin screen, to use this option.
    • Click on the arrow on the file tile and select Copy link.
  • Navigate back to your document, click Edit, and select the three dots to access more options.

  • Highlight the text where you want the link, click Link, and paste the copied link.

  • You can also create external links using the same method.
