Learn how to review and manage guidelines with expiry dates.

When you created a Clinical Pathway, you may have activated the Expiry Function.

Managing Expired or Soon-to-Expire Guidelines.

To review and manage pathways with expiry dates, let's take it step by step:

  1. First, navigate to the Admin Panel and click on "Content Management".

  2. Then, click on "Clinical Pathways".

  3. On the Clinical Pathways page, click on "Manage Expired Guidelines".

Then, click on "Clinical Pathways".

On the Clinical Pathways page, click on "Manage Expired Guidelines".

You'll find yourself on the 'Manage Expired Clinical Pathways' page, where you'll see two sections:

  • Expired Clinical Pathways: These are past-expired Pathways where the specified date has already passed. You may need to update or remove these Pathways.

  • Clinical Pathways Expiring Soon: This section is divided into different time frames:

    • This month

    • 3 months

    • 6 months

    • Within 1 year

Selecting accordingly will give you a clear view of upcoming pathways that need reviewing and updating.

Updating an expired or soon-to-expire Clinical Pathway.

Now, let's proceed with the process of updating or modifying a Clinical Pathway that has expired or is soon to expire. Here's how to do it:

  1. Select the desired Clinical Pathway from the list and click on it.

     

     

  2. A new window will open, providing you with the option to edit the file or web link and update essential guideline details, including the expiry date, name, and keywords.

     

  3. After making all the required changes, simply click "Finish", and voilà! Your guideline will be updated and ready for use!

Deleting an expired Clinical Pathway.

And in case you need to delete an expired pathway, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Clinical Pathways" page.

     

  2. Click on the section where the Pathway is stored and identify the pathway you want to delete.

     

  3. Next, click on the "Bin/Delete" icon positioned to the right of the card.

     

     

  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear, click "Delete" to confirm.

    • Pro Tip: In case of accidental deletion, simply click the "X" in the top-right corner to cancel the operation.

       

Navigate to the "Clinical Pathways" page.

Click on the section where the Pathway is stored and identify the pathway you want to delete.

Next, click on the "Bin/Delete" icon positioned to the right of the card.
