How to Share Content Without a Password on Desktop
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that allows users to access content without entering a password on desktop computers. This feature is perfect for situations where fast access is needed, like when sharing content on a local intranet.
How to Share a Link Without a Password:

Navigate to Your Content Repository:
- Go to your content section where the desired item is located.

Click the Three Dots:
- As an admin, click on the three dots next to the content you want to share.

Select “Share Link”:
- From the menu, choose “Share Link.”

Copy the Deep Link:
- If you copy the link as-is, users will need to input a password when accessing it.

Toggle to Skip the Password:
- To bypass the password step, toggle the option provided. Now, when someone clicks the link, they’ll have immediate access to the content without needing to sign in or input a password.

Share the Link:
- Use this link for easy access on desktop, especially for trusted environments like local intranets.
Things to Remember:
- Access is Read-Only: Users can view the content but cannot make changes.
- Mobile Users: For mobile app users, a password isn’t required anyway, so a deep link is still the preferred method for those users.
- Security Note: Be mindful when sharing these links, as they will give direct access to the content without authentication.
