Magnification Gestures (Android): Android users can enable magnification gestures by navigating to Settings > Accessibility > Magnification. Once activated, users can triple-tap the screen to zoom in on any area of the app and drag with two fingers to move around the screen.
-
Zoom (iOS): iOS users can enable the Zoom feature by going to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom. Once enabled, users can double-tap with three fingers to zoom in and drag around the screen to focus on specific content.
Screen Readers
Eolas Medical's web and mobile app are compatible with screen reader software, allowing visually impaired users to navigate the platform using audio prompts. Below are some options that work with our app:
-
VoiceOver (iOS): This screen reader provides spoken feedback to help users navigate our mobile app on iOS devices. It can be activated through Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver.
-
TalkBack (Android): Android users can access our app using TalkBack, a built-in screen reader that describes what is on the screen. This feature can be activated via Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack.
-
Screen Readers on Web (Windows/Mac): Users can navigate our web app using screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS (Windows), or VoiceOver (Mac), depending on their operating system.
Contrast and Color Settings
We are aware of the importance of visual clarity for users with visual impairments. Users may enhance the contrast or adjust the color settings on their devices for better visibility:
- Windows and macOS: Both operating systems offer high contrast modes and color filter adjustments in the Accessibility settings.
- iOS and Android: Mobile device users can adjust display settings to enable high contrast or invert colors, accessible through the Accessibility settings on both platforms.
